Returns
We at Alternative Sporting Services want you to be delighted every time you buy archery products from us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items.
IMPORTANT
Before returning any item, faulty or otherwise, you will need to obtain a "Return Authorization Code".
Simply send us an email explaning the situation along with the Invoice/Order number. Please do not telephone. In the event of goods being returned without a previously allocated Return Authorization Code the processing of any claim is likely to be delayed.
Alternative Services will only communicate with the original purchaser of the goods. No third parties can be involved at any stage.
The Return Authorization Code must be clearly identified on the external packaging, and internal documentation when the goods are returned, no markings should be made on the product or product packaging. The internal documentation should include proof of purchase, the returned product must be complete, and in "as new" condition with original packaging.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations (see Consumer Rights), you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item unmodified from factory specifications within 14 days of delivery. This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept books or cancellations of contracts for computer software products where the item has been unsealed or any item that has been used. Only items that can be re-sold as brand new can be returned.

Remember to mark package and/or customs labels with "Returned Goods". If we are charged import duty on returned goods this will be deducted from any refund or credit.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Alternative Services cannot be held responsible for lost parcels. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, building and fletching arrows, postage and packing, etc).
Non-stock goods displayed as "Special Order" or made or modified to customer requested specifications should not be changed or cancelled. (See Special Order Terms & Conditions)
Returning Faulty Goods:
All stocked products are carefully selected to ensure maximum quality and are normally checked for any obvious defects before despatch.
Any defects in the goods which under proper use appear within a reasonable period after delivery and which are due to faulty materials, workmanship or design will be made good by Alternative Services either by repair or, at the sole discretion of Alternative Services, by replacement or refund.
If a product is incorrect or faulty, once we have received the returned package Alternative Services will inspect and by default will replace with an identical or similar item with your agreement. All returned items are the responsibility of the customer until received by Alternative Services.
Alternative Services reserve the right to inspect any goods returned prior to releasing replacement goods or refunds or store credit. We normally expect this process to be completed within a few days of receipt but please allow up to 14 days.
Warranty seals applied to any goods (eg. release aids) supplied by Alternative Services must not be removed or broken and any product without the warranty seals intact will be deemed to have had any warranty invalidated and the goods will be deemed to have been accepted by the customer.
Warranty applies to goods which are used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. Further to this our in-store warranty (2 year period) will be void if any items have been modified from factory conditions or usage outside manufacturers recommendations or if any items have been attached or bonded to products.
Examples...
1) Excessive weight attached to stabilizers other than those within manufacturers recommendations which cause damage to stabilizers, threads, mounts, risers and related components.
2) Vibration dampening or noise reduction devices attached directly to limbs.
3) Dry fired recurve and compound bows.
4) Any accidental damage.
Our in-store warranty also covers shipping costs for both return and replacement goods. Any goods not covered by the in-store warranty but fall within manufacturers warranty (ie. outside 2 years or written permission from the manufacturer) the customer will pay for both return and replacement shipping costs.
Quality assurance:
All products sold by Alternative Services are brand new, unused and as supplied directly from the respective manufacturers and/or distributors. Alternative Services do not sell second hand or used products unless clearly specified otherwise and no items are sent out on a "trial" basis. The return of non-faulty goods may incur a restocking fee which will remain at the discretion of Alternative Services.
